Add "Change Approval Status to..." Rule Action

I’d like to be able to mark an Approval as Rejected, Changes requested, or Approved via a Rule Action.

Currently…

  • I can add a Rule Action to Change completion status to either “Complete task” or “Mark task incomplete” for tasks.
  • I can add a Rule Action to Mark task as approval to convert a task to an approval.

But there is no Rule Action to then allow me to mark the approval as Rejected or Approved based on some criteria.

This feature would be useful to avoid situations where we’d otherwise have to ask users to manually convert a task to an approval and mark as rejected every time it gets moved to a certain section or whenever they set a custom status value to something equalling rejection.

Just FYI, unless/until Asana does add this rule action, it’s available as a rule action in our Flowsana integration:

Unfortunately using Flowsana is not an option for us :disappointed_face:
