Automation Rule for "Do this" that changes "Approval" task statues to "Approved, Needs Changes, Rejected"

In particular, I’m building a review process where this would be extremely beneficial that If X action is done and X field is set to X score, it would add a comment and change the approval status on the ticket to “Approved”, “Needs Changes”, or “Rejected” based on that X score field.

Right now, my solution is that I can only mark the task as “Complete” and add a comment to confirm the exact resolution of that Asana ticket.

I appreciate your time and consideration for my suggestion.

Can you clarify:

  1. “X action is done”: Do you mean when the task is marked as complete?
  2. Is the task currently a regular task (Incomplete, Complete)?
  3. “Change the approval status”: Do you mean: Change the task type from regular to Approval, and also set the status to one of the three?
