Add a section to multiple projects

Our workflow is we have a master release project which is a board. We list all the major sprints and dates for various platforms. Then we have different projects (list-based) for each platform with the specific features/tasks.

It used to be I could cross-reference a section title in a list project to a board project and vice versa. Now I have to create a duplicate task within a section to achieve this. Its really ugly and extra work. Why did you remove the ability to have sections show in multiple projects?

Oh how annoying. I used to use sections between 2 x projects. 1 a kanban style board and the other a project with all the detailed tasks under that section. Rather than use the kanban layout in the one project as she of the tasks are far too detailed to use within a kanban board.

Can that functionality be put back?
