About the Critical Bugs category

This category focuses exclusively on communicating widespread bugs with a critical impact on customers’ workflows. If you want to report an individual issue or ask a question, please check out our Tips and Tricks category.


When there are several reports about an issue in the Forum, our team will review it and decide if it should be moved to the Critical Bugs category and escalate it to our team – or advise if the user should reach out to our support team. To make this decision we will use the guidelines below as well as our best judgment:

  • Frequency: We will prioritize bugs affecting a large number of users and reported across different channels (support, social, etc).
  • Impact: We will consider bugs that critically impact customers’ workflows or block them from using Asana.
  • Reproducibility: We will only consider bugs that can be reproduced by our team and users.
