Yes, OneDrive and Google Drive integrations are useful, but they don’t solve the problem of a missing feature. In our implementation, we receive files from a number of requesters. Due to permissions and bad user habits, we reinforced a policy of attaching a hard copy of the file to ensure that everyone in Asana can review the files.
The integration with other platforms doesn’t work when a form is submitted, especially if the submitter is not an Asana user.
This preview feature (which does not allow editing) is available by default on other platforms, such as Wrike. This is probably one of the key benefits that improves performance, as you are not required to download and open an additional app just to review.
From a project manager’s perspective, I waste a lot of time downloading every single file and opening it just to do a quick review. This turns a two-minute task into something that takes longer and creates unnecessary clutter in my drive.
