This is extra important as you work through tasks. Since you can’t Hide completed subtasks, we end up with a long list of completed development subtasks that we then have to shuffle around just to be able to view subtasks without expanding repeatedly.
My developer wants tasks, not nested subtasks, so by moving subtasks around we lose the placement in sections, which we also use for meaningful wayfinding. We end up with a mishmash of tasks that we’re constantly moving down to the bottom of the main task so we can try to see only remaining outstanding subtasks. Not ideal.
ETA: Additionally, if you move a subtask- either add it to another task or rearrange it as noted above, you then have to re-expand each section of tasks again, which is frustrating. Very easy to lose your place.
