“You can now embed attachments in your comments!” is a great improvement of this year!
However, many of our colleagues prefer drag and drop over clicking the clip icon. Some people commented about it in the announcement thread.
Hi @HideK, welcome to the Asana Community Forum and thanks for taking the time to submit your feedback! Our product team is aware of this request as it came up when we launched the feature to embed attachments. I’ll keep you posted if we have any plans to launch this feature in the future.

could you give us an update about the drag and drop functionality in the comment zone? Is this foreseen in a future upgrade?

Currently you can drag and drop attachments into the task description or comment section, however drag and drop attachments for them to be in the same comment block isn‘t working.
Since Asana does not have a public roadmap not sure if and when this might be implemented.
