Right now, users can set to ignore weekends in timeline & calendar views only for the dependent tasks.
However, for regular tasks (esp. templates, rules etc.), users cannot ignore weekends.
Thus, when users create a task via task templates, project templates and rules etc., they have to double check to make sure the deadlines are not set on the weekends.

Hi there!
Great work on the timeline feature - really love its simplicity. One thing however seems over-simplified to me:
There should be an option to hide weekends. If I plan a 5-(work)-day task that is supposed to start on Monday and end on Friday, and then my plan changes and I drag it to start on Wednesday, then it should (automatically) end on Tuesday, not Sunday.

And here is the one for task templates:
Functionality should mirror the “Skip Weekends” feature with project templates.
And here for project templates
Is it possible to modify the Calendar to factor out weekends for a project that has weekends factored in?
And here for rules
I’ve set up some custom rules to change tasks due date to be due in X days based on priority, but this can have tasks due on a weekend. How do I change it so the rules are only looking at standard business days?
