I renamed 16.000 Asana tasks. It took me about an hour. How is this possible?
All thanks to the API. This is what allows you to code things around Asana and communicate with their servers.
A client needed one custom field (time spent) to be included in their task name. They had 16.000 existing tasks to rename.
The code took about an hour to write, and then a couple of minutes to run on all the tasks.
It obviously can’t be done manually, so sometimes relying on your IT team or people like us is the right way to clean things up/improve your systems!
