Why is one subtask appearing in Grey color

I have an issue with the subtask appearing in grey color where the others are set based on the priority.

Probably the color for parent tasks is coming from the project color.

Subtasks are not actually members of the project so unless you do Tab+P and add them to the project (with the side effect that they’ll also appear in the main tasks list, though you can “hide” them in a collapsed Section, they won’t have the same color.

or you could apply the parent’s field to the subtask, as such:

Hi @Reshma_Suresh , if you look in the upper right area, you will see the setting of how colour is set in your Timeline view. The same setting needs to apply for your subtasks. [image] So, for example, if your colours are set based on your custom field ‘Status’ where the value ‘In progress’ is yellow, then the same value needs to be applied to the subtasks so that they also appear yellow.
