When assigning someone to a task the task would disappear

Hi,

I am new to Asana. I noticed as soon as I assign a task to someone the task would automatically disappear. Does this happen to you? Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

Is the task disappearing from your “My Tasks”. If that’s the case it is a normal behaviour; My Tasks only includes tasks assigned to you, so if you create a task in My Task and assign it to someone else, it will automatically “disappear” from your My Task and appear in the My Tasks of the person you assigned it to.

Generally speaking, I would recommend nesting tasks you’re creating in projects, so you can easily organize and find them when you need to!
