View portfolio candidates to add projects to

When adding a project to the portfolio, I would like the suggestions to be displayed in the pull-down. (similar to assigning projects to tasks)

Hi @Ka_Nishiyama , I believe they do, once you start typing.

You would like to see the suggested portfolios list once you click into the box, BEFORE typing at all, as per adding tasks to project, right?

I think these surfaces work a bit differently, from a UX approach…

I see they work differently, perhaps because Asana UX feels they have better suggestions for the project field than for the portfolio field, maybe because they track recently visited more closely?

I agree. An image similar to how project assignment works for tasks.
