I’m currently in 2 asana teams but have to open 2 windows to to view them.
It would be nice to switch between them via the teams heading in the side bar
Hi @B_Man,
In your title you mention “2 workspaces”, but in your text you mention “2 teams”. Workspaces and teams are very different things in Asana.; can you clarify which of those elements you’re referring to? Thanks!
Sorry I’m a bit new to this.
I have 2 workspaces but only one listed under teams
I created the second workspace from the same user but I cant get it to view under the same team. I have to manually open it from the top right and they are both separate.
how can I view both my workspaces under the teams heading in the left side bar
I’m afraid that’s working as expected, @B_Man.
You can read about Workspaces and Organizations at help.asana.com. Organizations are more flexible because they allow you to have multiple teams, unlike Workspaces which have no teams feature (and are presented in the sidebar as a single team).
Don’t forget to click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the purple Vote button; that’s the quickest and most effective way to express your support for a request.
I think this topic should be merged with Viewing all assigned tasks across multiple workspaces - what do you think? @lpb
Well, I don’t think so. The topics are somewhat related, but this topic is only asking for seeing the workspaces, distinctly, in the sidebar not the profile menu, and that’s quite different from the other topic, I think.
Fair enough point, @lpb, we can keep them distinct.
@B_Man , in case it’s not clear, Asana creates Workspaces because you are using a Gmail account. If you are part of a company and those 2 teams are both in the same company, then all users, including yourself should create a workspace and be added to that using your eg. @company.com domain emails. That will instead create an Organization where you can create multiple Teams, as @lpb mentions above.
