Hi all! I was hoping to use Asana AI to compare a completed project with a template I have set up. I was specifically interested in asking Asana AI to compare our completed due dates and milestone with the projected due dates set up in our template to see if we need to update our projected due dates.
Has anyone use Asana AI in similar way? If so, can you share some example of the prompt language you used?
If not, has anyone found a workaround for how to optimize their templates based on data from completed projects?

I would suggest using the Baseline feature in your Gantt view to compare the initial due dates to the actual due dates (assuming the due dates were adjusted to reflect the project’s current state). This will give you a clear idea of which due dates have been amended since the project started.
If you see big discrepancies, you could even use the last version of your project to create a new template.
If you still prefer to take the AI route, I would suggest phrasing along the lines of:
”Please compare the ‘ABC’ project with the ‘XYZ’ template. “ Analyse changes in due dates and suggest an optimised version of the timeline. Highlight which tasks should be adjusted in the template.”
