Emojis are awesome. They are fun, they are colorful, and they emphasize content.
I explain in this video my love for emojis!
And you, are you an emoji lover or not?

emoji lover for sure!!
Yes yes yes to emojis
How do I use numbers (digits) emojis past “10” in task names?
Thanks
By combining two emojis…?
Yeah, thats what Im gonna have to do. I just didnt like how it looked. I was hoping since theres a number 10, that the rest would be there too.
Emojis are a great indicator! Are there plans to allow emojis as part of a rule to automate notations to task titles?
Hi @Valecia_Goodnow , that’s currently available. You can use the rule action to set the task title to append an emoji followed by the original task title (which can be added as a variable) using the + icon.
I was about to write the same thing @Richard_Sather did after creating this example for you!
This does just what you want, but recognize that it’s quite a bit more complicated (not even worth it, really) to 1) automatically remove such emoji when the priority is downgraded, and 2) prevent repeated emoji, e.g., in the case of adding a when an attachment is added to a task. In these occasional cases, I just manually remove the extra emoji.
Thanks,
Larry
Not sure if I replied to this but thank you Richard – I did figure out how to do this.
You’re welcome, @Valecia_Goodnow
Glad it worked for you
