Universal Reporting - Ability to filter tasks by team members

Hi Team,

I’m trying to create tailored dashboards for our departments in Asana. Each department has their own Team in Asana.

These dashboards are aimed at showing each department what work they have across Asana.

Currently, in order to filter all tasks down to team members, I need to filter by assignee and manually add every member of the team. Could we add an option to filter by Asana team? This would automatically and dynamically include all of the Team members.

Alternatively, is there a way to logically group people in departments and filter dashboards based on this?

Thank you Larry,

I have tried using this filter, but this provides a different function to what I’m after. This filters tasks based on projects within the included teams. What I’m after is a way to filter tasks based on members of included teams, spanning across all projects in our instance.

I hadn’t tested it before replying (as you now know!). I assumed:

would result in the desired behavior. (cc @Garrett_Knoll in case this is of interest; or in case maybe upcoming changes might already be addessing this?)
