Not sure if this is a bug, but i am unable to move tasks within a section only in a particular project, i was able to do it normally some days back but today i am unable to do.
Note : I am the project owner along with edit access, so no issues on this front

Are you sorting the project by any specific parameters? You will only be able to manually move tasks if you are sorting by None.

Hey thanks @Rebecca_McGrath - Yeah someone has changed the layout to sort by Date.
Revereted to None and it worked
