Unable to change or modify custom fields

Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you so much in advance for helping me with this matter.

We created a new template some months ago, and it took some new custom fields, but it used my mother language (Spanish). Now, other colleagues based out of Spain, are taking this template, and the template is adding these fields but in Spanish rather than in their language. Is there any way to change the name of these fields??

Hi,

There is no multi-language option for custom fields. They would have to create another custom field. You could include both in the template and let people remove from the project (not delete) the ones they don’t want to use.

Or if you’re just wanting to change the name of the existing custom field, you can do that - go to the “Customize” menu in the project, find the field under the “Fields” area, hover your cursor over the field and click the pencil icon, then you can edit the field’s name.

I think these fields were created by another colleague and I cannot edit them, I can’t remove or add new fields too.
In a case like this, we would need to reach out to Asana asking to modify it? No way without having a premium user in your “company”)?
