For Goals, can we add a feature or is there a existing feature or work around to:
Disable Notifications for Accountable team members when updating Goal Statuses.
My team is looking for less clutter in their inbox, and for the Status Update to go to their Direct Report only, not Team Wide.

@Julien_RENAUD @Arthur_BEGOU we did have that discussion isn’t it?
Yes, we don’t have the solution either, and the objectives generate a certain number of notifications and we can’t adjust them.
Let’s elevate this request to the Asana Dev team, especially on behalf of all the Asana Amabassdors that have raised this over the years.
My team has adopted Asana for OKR tracking and this is their number one issue.

Yes “Accountable Team” goal notifications are also flooding my inbox. Devs please fix!
Great that you raised this @Renee_WJ.
We would also really like more control over notifications for Goals. When I’m following multiple Goals across teams, I receive updates for every change/addition, which can become overwhelming. It would be great to choose the types of updates to receive goals notifications. That way, team members can stay in the loop without getting overwhelmed by every change.

Does your team get notifications when the Team is a “Goal Member?” Or when they are the “Accountable Team”? I am going to try setting the goals to Public (so everyone can still see the Goal), keeping the Team “Accountable” in the accountable field, and removing the Team as a “Goal Member” to see if that stops the notifications.
That said–agree–when adding anyone to Members there should be a checkbox (send notifications about this goal to Members?) And then in the Goal Sharing Settings, for each Goal Member, there should be YES/NO options about Status Updates; Comments; Changes (similar to how on a Project you can toggle notifications for each person or team that has access).
