I set-up Asana into Teams. Each of my teams has multiple projects and that is how I manage the tasks and projects that my team is responsible for. With Asana’s newest update, my workflow has impacted since People is the only way to navigate to Teams (that I have found). It seems that Asana has moved to Teamless teams and then wants you to use Portfolios. My issue with this that my company does not pay for that tier.
Has anyone found a work around? Or a better way to set up projects?
Although projects are now teamless as far as having a home, you can still have a project associated with a specific team in the project settings. This will cause it to be listed in the “All Work” tab in your team. In your team, you can also add specific curated projects in the Overview tab.
I have all my projects assigned to a team. If I click people, I can still see my projects. I just can’t go to a Team > Project and then easily click to another project. I have to go back to people > team > project each time.
You may have already seen this, but have you looked at the information on teamless and portfolios?
That being said,
The portfolio feature requires an advanced plan, so I’d like to see some kind of solution for that.
As an idea, how about the following? (None of these are fundamental solutions, though)
Put shortcuts to each project in a shared folder on the file server
Add each project to your browser’s bookmarks
Alternatively, how about this?
Work>>Project>>Browse projects
