Tasks depending on a task in a different project?

Is it possible to have a task wait on the completion of another task that’s in a different project?
The very simple case in point would be my planned vacation.
Another one would be a rather time consuming task in another project of mine that will completely block me for some time.

As long as you have a premium subscription, you can use the ‘Mark as dependent on . . .’ feature:

Thanks, Mark - great, it already works that way, I had just blindly assumed that the “search for task by name” feature would be restricted to the current project, which it really isn’t.
