I have some tasks that show a different estimated time if they are in My Tasks vs. a project board.
Why would this be?
Not sure, but suspect this is an effect of the various time summation bugs that have been reported.
E.g. Calculated Time Estimate not showing on parent tasks in board view

Yes that’s expected. And even if this is very confusing, it is the result of what Stephanie pointed out.
