Task that is blocked is able to be marked complete via a rule

I created a task that is blocked by other tasks. A user was able to mark the task complete by moving the task to a section with a rule that marks tasks complete. Is this the expected behavior?

Example:

  • Task A is blocked by Task B, which is not marked complete.
  • User moves Task A from New to Complete, which has a rule to mark tasks complete when they’re moved to Complete
  • Task A shows as still blocked by Task B, but is marked complete.

@Andrew_Pegram - AFAIK, blocked tasks can always be completed, even manually, so I would think this is expected behavior. For reference, blocked tasks can be completed by opening them and completing them in the task pane slide-out (instead of trying to click on the check mark from list view).
