I’ve been using Asana for years and keep running into the same issue: my project is set to Mon-Fri non-working days, but tasks created from a task template still land on weekends.
I’ve tried everything. Non-working days are set correctly at the project level. Auto-shift dates isn’t available because my project doesn’t use scheduled tasks. And while you can set up an automation rule to push a weekend due date to Monday, it only moves that one task and doesn’t cascade to anything dependent on it.
The whole point of a task template is that someone on my team can kick one off and everything is ready to go without me having to clean it up after. If the project has non-working days configured, templates should respect that automatically.
Has anyone found a clean fix for this? Feels like a pretty fundamental gap.
