Steps to reproduce:
Go to task on Asana → Type comment → Press tab → “Enter” key is not highlighted, and “Insert an object” is instead
Browser version:
MacOS Google Chrome 117.0.5938.149
What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?
Hi @gkimball, sorry for the trouble. We had similar reports earlier this year and the issue was fixed by our team. I’ve reached out again asking if they’ve made any changes to this shortcut and will let you know once I hear back. That said, I’ve just tested and Tab + Enter is still working on my end. Can you confirm if you are still running into issues today?
I think I reported a similar issue previously this year which was fixed but recently this new issue has been consistently coming up for me. I just restarted my browser and tried again but am still running into the same behavior.

Thank you for confirming! I’ve escalated this case to our Developers to get more information, and as soon as I hear back from them I’ll let you know. Happy to hear that Ctrl + Enter has been working in the meantime
Hi everyone, our Developers have confirmed that this was due to some changes they had to make related to accessibility improvements. Although it’s not a bug, they’ve added this request to be reviewed in future updates. Sorry for any inconvenience!
