Subtask email notifications don't include the project name

I noticed that when I get an email about a regular task on a project, the project name is included in brackets at the end of the task name.

Example: Call the client team [XYZ Project]

However, when I get an email about a subtask, the project name is absent from the email completely. This makes it difficult to set up email filters, and in some cases, it’s hard to tell which project the task is even coming from.

Example: Don’t forget to mention to Ann that content is due on Tuesday [Call the client team].

It would be helpful to still include the project name in the subject.

Potential fix example: Don’t forget to mention to Ann that content is due on Tuesday – subtask of Call the client team [XYZ Project]

Because a subtask is not part of a project :sweat: this is a design choice, that how the data model is done.

Subtasks don’t inherently “belong” to the projects they are in. A potential workaround for this is adding the subtask to the project before assigning someone - that way there is a project to pull from in the email notification. Not 100% positive this will work, but I would think it should!

Can you elaborate on the steps you took, we always create the subtask first, but still seem to receive emails lacking main task details.
