Sorting Hides Subtasks in list view

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
Tasks with subtasks organised into sections and presented in list view show the subtasks via toggle arrows next to the parent task. Sorting this list removes all of the subtasks from view as well as the toggle arrows on the parent task. Subtasks can only then be viewed from the detail window of the parent task.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. create a series of tasks and subtasks organised into sections and displayed in list view.
  2. click on one of the Sort options
    Browser version:
    Google Chrome Version 85.0.4183.83 (64 bit)
