I’d love to hear an update as well. This routinely effects by able to properly prioritize tasks for my team. :frowning:

I often have time stamps attached to a due date for a task, such as, due Tuesday at 9am. But these tasks fall where they may within the list of tasks due for that day. I don’t want to remove the “sort by due date” because it becomes too disorganized for me.

Why isn’t there a way to have tasks for today sort by soonest to latest as well? Logically, it makes sense to me that a task with a 9am due date would be more important and higher on the list than a task simply with a Tuesday due day. Or at least you should be able to drag them, even when the “sort by due date” function is on.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, @anon17547227! You are right, as it stands, it’s currently not possible to reorder tasks when sorting by due date and when you sort by due date, it doesn’t consider due time. Our product team is aware of this and we hope to improve it in the future. In the meantime, I have gone ahead and merged your post with Sort by Due Date only sorts by date, not by time to consolidate feedback!

It is pretty silly that this has still not been fixed. And then when I try to create a custom rule to fix it myself I am prompted to upgrade. Woof.

I’m definitely not renewing my paid plan.

The board is the feature I use the most and the fact that this minor bug can’t be fixed after two years gives me zero continued confidence in using this platform for my team.

Jup I got the same problem and so I was searching on Google for the solution. Unforutnately I came to this topic and read this still isn’t fixed :frowning:

What is the status on this?? This is one of the most basic things for an engineer to do (sort on indexed columns). And it’s been here for years.

Ludicrous that something this simple yet important is being ignored by the dev team.

any news on this? it seems like it could be easy to sort out - since dates seem to sort by time just fine in LIST VIEW but they don’t sort in time order in BOARD VIEW.
