Hi everyone - just wanted to share that we’ve pushed 2 changes to this flow:
- The channel selection should now be visible without scrolling, so it’s easier to notice and unselect
- If you do leave it selected accidentally, it will post into the thread of the message you are creating a task from, not into the main channel. This will at least minimize the number of people who get notified about it
We hope this makes for a smoother Slack experience, and in the meantime are continuing to evaluate other options to improve.
