Setting up Dashboards

Hello - I am trying to figure out how to get a dashboard setup for a new project. We currently have one team and multiple projects under it that have dashboards for each project. I created a new team with a project under it and when I click on dashboards, it says that I need to upgrade. It is just strange that I can see them in one team, but not the other. According to my IT Admin, we have a business account, but he doesn’t know that much about Asana. I am a new user to Asana, but nobody in my org can tell me what I am missing. Hoping someone here can help me. Thanks!

Hi @Doug_VanDyk, welcome to the Asana Community Forum! From your description, it looks like you are currently part of a Business Team. For context, in Asana, you can upgrade a single team to paid plan or the entire Organization. If you upgrade one team only, the paid feature will be only available in projects and tasks under your paid team, however, if you create a separate team, you won’t have access to paid features.

Thank you Emily - I guess I do have one follow on question. I think we do only have one team that has been upgraded so I moved my project back into that team. If I want additional people to access it, do they all need a business license? Thanks!

Hi @Doug_VanDyk, thanks for getting back to me! If you add members to the project that are not already added to your Business team in Asana, the answer is yes. They will count as a new member in the number of licences available in your plan. By member I mean, users that have your company email.
