Setting filters to @ linking tasks/people to only current project info

When using the @ feature to link tasks or mention users, it does not appear to have any types of filters, often showing tasks or people not related to the current project.

For tasks, this is quite bad in my company, since we have similarly named tasks across hundreds of customer projects, and when trying to link a task from the same project in a Status Update, for example, we see a bunch of tasks with that name that are not relevant for the current project with no quick way to find the exact one we need.

There should be a quick option on the top of the results to filter for “all projects” “current project” and “hide completed” and allow you to set a default for every time you use the @.
Or at least ensure that projects/people from the project you are currently in, have a higher priority and always shows first.

50% of the cases the task that I want is not even on this list, since we have 200+ tasks with the same or very similar name, and I need to manually go look for that task and copy paste it for the @ to work.

When trying to mention the “Go Live” task from the CURRENT project, none of the results is the one I want:
