Hello everyone,
I have this following scenario:
An external collaborator submits a request via a form. I have set the rule of “when the task is done, then move to a certain section”, and then " send email with the required update".
Problem is that when I use the Outlook app, it is obviously being sent from my personal account. I would like the sender to be the Asana team owning the project so that the requestor may reply to the whole team and not just to me.
But there is no such option when editing the Outlook parameters. Is there a workaround on this?
Does your team have a mailbox you want to send from or do you want it to come from Asana? If the former, because of the way you authenticate apps (using your individual account), I don’t think you can accomplish this natively (you could do it with an integrator like Zapier). If the latter, you can do that for internal users with the new request tracking feature, but that’s not yet available for external users (don’t share your email domain).

Thank you!
Yes, we have a separate mailbox and ideally it should come from this (like it@company.com) but I guessed that because of the authenication it would not work
I saw the request tracking and I will propose it to the team but yes, I will have to change the form settings as well to corporation only.
Many thanks!
