I use templates a lot but sometimes ad-hoc tasks need to be added into a templated project. When this happens, I add dependencies to the task but it gives me options for tasks with the same name outside of the project, sometimes not giving me the option for the current project’s tasks due to the limited view of options.
I recommend that when adding dependencies, you are able to select the tasks you want to have the dependencies for within the same project.

Sorry for the delay in response. The request you’ve linked does seem to be of a similar line. I would also like to have it so you can filter to in-project only tasks.
What I mean by “select” is having the option to click the dependent task and have it input into the field. Similarly to how if you add an “=” in cell A1 in Excel, you can select cell B2 to input what A1 should be looking at.
