🪲 'Search actions' does not work in Rule editor

For about the past couple of weeks now, I have noticed that when typing into the ‘Search actions’ box in the rule editor, it does not filter out the custom fields in the search results. :frowning:

This does not seem to happen to existing rules, it only happens when you create a new rule and the issue is only with custom fields.

Steps to recreate:

  1. Create rule from scratch
  2. Leave trigger and condition empty
  3. Click on the ‘Do this’ box
  4. Search for a field in the actions list
  5. Nothing happens

So when I type ‘Score’ I see ALL the possible fields, instead of seeing just Score:

Pinging @Forum-team for escalation please as this is driving me

Hello @Richard_Sather. Thank you very much for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We have submitted a bug report regarding this, and we will inform you, should there any updates about this. :asanacurated:

We used to be able to filter all the different actions by typing the name of a field, but it doesn’t work anymore.

If you look at the example below, when I type “Lifecycle”, it doesn’t filter to only show that specific field.

Also:

Search filter is showing too much, too:

@Bastien_Siebman, I hate to have to say it to you of all people, but don’t forget to vote!

Thanks,

Larry

I was able to reproduce both issues raised by @Bastien_Siebman and @lpb here.

@Stefan_Kirilov that’s a bug you might want to communicate to the Product team
