Saved Favorites for Assignees

I would love the ability to save a short list of the people I assign to most often, and have that list appear at the top of the Assignee dropdown before I type anything. Similar to the way favorited projects sit at the top of the sidebar and call it our “Favorites”.

Specifically:

• I choose who is on my own list, so it is a personal preference rather than an admin setting
• The saved names appear first when the Assignee field opens, above general search results
• Typing still searches the full directory exactly as it does now, so nothing is hidden or restricted
• Ideally the same list works for @ mentions and People custom fields

This is a great feature to have and could be marketed in a really fun way esp. w/ MySpace making a comeback.

Hello, Asana is great, but every great product can always get better I use Asana almost all day every day and I am constantly tagging people with the @ symbol. We have about 10 people named David at my company, but I only tag about two of them on a regular basis. @Mention people before tasks

When I try to mention a person, for example while writing a comment in a task, the mention autocompletes to a task with the person’s name in it instead of the person. This is very annoying, because it is very rare to mention a task, but very common to mention a person.
