When using my tasks view Asana saves automatically last used, but DOES NOT SAVE sections as last used. My tasks view always opens with all sections open, this is total enemy of focus and productivity.
Please add ability to keep saved sections as open or closed.

Sections in your My Tasks should remain how you set them when returning to the page. If you leave the page with all Section closed, they should remain closed when you come back. Is this not the case for you?

No, this is not the case for me.
I use Asana APP for iOS.
On the MAC app they remain how I set them, but on iOS they always come back to open.

According to my knowledge it only saves the sections view in My tasks on the desktop and the browser, but on my Android, it does not save the view.
I guess this is a feature that still need to be implemented.

As mentioned by @Paul_Grobler, Sections do not remember their closed/open state on the mobile apps so this is expected behaviour.
I suggest creating a thread in the #mobile:androidios-feedback category requesting this feature
