Rules Update Subtask Assignees

Using Asana rules is there a way to update/ change sub task assignees.

I have a rule where when a task is added to my project through a form. Subtasks are created. I have then created a variable that assigns the subtasks to the assignee. However when I change the assignee of the task, the subtasks remain the original assignee of the task not the changed one. Is there a work around?

I’m unaware of a workaround natively in Asana.

You could include a rule that when the assignee is changed, a comment is added @mentioning someone to manually make the update, as required.
