Rule trigger for when start (or stop) timer

I’d also like to do this too. This would be really helpful.

Also, is it possible to do an automation where if we start the timer, the custom field single select changes from New Request to In Progress. That would be great so we don’t have to manually change the single select, it just changes automatically.

Use case is for active monitoring for when work is being done and what specific work is being done.

Users are requested to Start the Timer on a task and to set a customer field for a Custom Single-Select Field (Custom Task Status) to In Progress. Since users often forget to do both actions and we’re not able to see active timers, this provides a visual feedback to what users are actively working on.

When a Timer is Stopped, the Custom Single-Select Task Status could be set to an alternative value.
