Feature request: allow us to check whether a task is multi-homed in a specific project and take action accordingly.
- Reveal list of projects available to the rule creator and cause rule only able to be edited by the rule creator, similar to the way authenticated external rules are locked down (like Outlook) for editing by others.
- Bonus: reveal sections of that project so that options are:
- Not in project: [project name]
- Somewhere in project: [project name]
- In one of these sections of [project name] [multi-choice section list]
- If the section is renamed or deleted, alert the rule creator that their rule needs to be fixed, as you do when custom fields are removed from project.
Use cases: exponential — free up Asana super users in an organization to create team workflows that are more efficient, use less custom fields*, avoid duplicates, and ensure work is inserted/visible where it should be across projects.
*and require less adding of custom fields into spaces where they are not needed just to open up the ability for that project to execute rules that we wish could be more efficiently executed by another project
