Restore Print a Task with Sub Task Details - this was removed with the May 2024 update

We have used the Print (to printer or PDF) of a Task with the Subtask and the subtask details for some time, recently pictures would show up if placed in the Description box. Now, with the May 2024 update, the print matches the app view when looking at a task, so no subtask details!

Welcome, @Peroline,

Don’t forget to vote with the purple button at the top, as I just did!

Thanks,

We are used to print 1st page and place on our Physical order at the warehouse/packing area. Now we don’t get the details from the Describtion as the Fields area are too big

Note: Not a solution but marked as such to elevate a key reply

Until/if Asana addresses this, you may want to consider the free Asana2Go (disclaimer: I’m the creator) which offers different output formats and lets you print one or an arbitrary selection of tasks (or subtasks) and will show any and all of their subtasks titles, assignee, and due date, but just that first level of subtasks.

Thanks,

Larry

Yes same here, this has severely ruined our process. We were using an inventory checklist where we had a task template with subtasks listing various cases, and within those subtasks there were sub-subtasks listing everything within that case. Previously when we would “print” it would show all of the subtasks AND sub-subtasks in the print view. Now we no longer can see the sub-subtasks.

Please revert to the previous print option!!!

Thank you @lpb ! This is a very helpful workaround!
