I was showing a client the Gantt view the other day and noticed that you cannot remove dependencies as you can do in the timeline view where when you hover over the dependency’s line, a 
appears so you can click and remove it.
I understand Gantt is fairly new but I think this is the only thing that it is not-better-at than the Timeline view.

So to break dependencies in Gantt view, you need to open the task and remove the dependencies from the task details pane. Unless I’m missing something
