+1 here - default setting for this would be really important, with lots of tasks it just takes up too much space.

Should be able to set on a project level whether cover images from attachments are enabled by default.
Or at least, in the Gmail App, ability to turn off attachments as cover image (while still attaching the email and attachments to the task).
Yes! I enabled these by accident with a pre-caffeine ill-aimed click and now I can’t get rid of them. They’re taking up far too much prime real estate on my tasks.
+1 for global setting per project and per column in the board view
On your MAIN board (not when you’ve clicked into a card), click the 3 dots on the right-hand side of the card > Choose cover image > Show no image
Would also love to have this as a global setting for a project, it’s very painful to do this for every task.
Adding another +1 for this feature request, thanks!
I too agree. This is a must especially for longer lists.

I mean look at the history of this? Can we have this 10 min. implementation feature soon?
Time to show you care Asana
Set NO PREVIEW image by default and ++ add expand to preview function 2020 please.
Guy who made preview code will still get paid if we can show and hide this.
+1 it would be very helpful to have this option

Hi all Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback!
Good news! It is now possible to remove an attachment preview from tasks in the Board view!
To remove an attachment preview:
- Click the three dots next to the image in Board view
- Select Choose cover image
- Select Show no image
I hope you are as excited for this feature as I am! Looking forward to hearing your feedback in the comments below!
