I am using a project for resource management. Once I have assigned the subtasks to a person, I want to be able to remove the Parent Task from the TBC section.
I understand that I can create a rule where once a task is assigned remove it from a project. However is there a way of assigning subtasks and removing the parent task from the project?
If you go inside the subtask would you still be able to navigate your way to the parent task to see all the information?

Hello @Montana_Tallentire
If you remove the task from the project, the subtasks are carried with the parent task.
Do you need them to stay in this project?
One way to do so, is to have a rule that adds the subtasks to the project as tasks when they are assigned.
This way when you remove the parent task, the subtasks are still linked to it, and they are still visible in the project you have.
Does this help?

Thank you for this. How do I make that rule of turning subtasks into tasks using the native rules within asana.
I really like the idea especially how it will still link the parent task to them.
