I have 64 projects that I would like to remove a team member from. Do I have to open each and do them one at a time, or can I do it in bulk somehow?

At this time, it is not possible to remove a user from multiple projects at the same time. You are right in saying that this would need to be done for each project individually.

We created 200 projects using a template that had our whole team as users on the projects. Ideally it would be good to do a bulk removal of all the individual users from the projects to minimize the number of notifications we are all getting from Asana.
This was added to the product feedback category in April 2021. Is this functioning now?
No @Kayla_Garza1 it hasn’t been prioritized yet, but we will keep you posted here as soon as we have an update. @Phil_Seeman / @Bastien_Siebman would this be something doable via the API by any chance?
With the latest endpoint addition I believe that possible. @Kayla_Garza1 did you know that removing a person from a team removes them from projects within? Maybe it is faster to remove from the team and add back to some projects…
@Bastien_Siebman Thank you for your response. That is what we ended up doing to fix the problem. I’m hoping the bulk add/remove option will be available in the near future though.
Hi! I need to add a new team member to many many projects within a number of teams. Is there a way to do this all at once? Going into each project one by one will take hours. Thanks so much!
I don’t think you can! We had the same issue recently when @Roman_hubsana joined us: I went into the admin console, opened his profile, and added him to relevant teams. I had to manually add him to projects that were relevant…
