Please remove the “mark task complete” button from the timeline view. It’s too easy to click, especially for short tasks. Then the task disappears from the timeline and you have to go and find it. It’s also unlikely to be used for its intended purpose - timeline is usually for an overview.
(In general, the main downside with Asana is that it’s too easy to accidentally do things. This is one of them).
