Upvoting this. It should be simple to expand the options for recurring tasks beyond 1 year. I need it for my project management and I’m considering other platforms.
Another vote for this. It seems like it should be a fairly simple attribute to allow >12 months or >1 year
I use an Asana Project to track all of my environmental compliance tasks. I would say at least 30% of my tasks reoccur more than 26 months in the future. Some drinking water testing reoccurs every 9 years. Most of my testing reoccurs every three years. Please, Please, Please, provide an option to choose up to 10 years in the future for reoccurring tasks. No having this feature requires that I set multiple tasks for the same item, which is confusing and time consuming. If I don’t do this, then I have to set a reoccurring task for 1 week and note a reminder of the lenght of time the task needs to repeat. It’s easy to miss the note at the bottom indicating how long I should set the new date, or if I forget to add the note, then I have to go look up the frequency in the regulations or permits. Not efficient. This shouldn’t be a difficult fix, so I don’t understand why this upgrade hasn’t been done long ago.
+1 to this. I have some personal tasks that recur 18 months or two years out. Other simple tools like Apple Reminders support longer recurrence ranges. Seems like Asana should as a “power user” tool.
