Just to be sure I’m getting this right, you’d like a feature allowing you to automatically move completed tasks at the bottom of a Section is that correct?

I think the OP would like a feature to move completed tasks and subtasks automatically. The end result should look something like this:
Note that I had to manually move each item to get it to look like this. If I hadn’t subtasks ran the risk of getting lost (or buried). Also, since there’s a way to archive completed tasks, there should be a way to archive completed subtasks. Thanks so much!

Is there any answer to this? I don’t see one and need the exact same thing.
Welcome to the Asana Community Forum 
Setting up rules could help. For example, the rule trigger can be completed tasks and the action can be moving these tasks to the last section of your project. Now the thing to keep in mind is that currently rules do not work on subtasks.
The other way is just changing the default view to only see incomplete tasks.
