Re-occuring Due date causes screen to freeze

When clicking on the “due date” for any re-occuring due dates, Asana freezes. This happens on the main “My tasks” view as well as individual “task” view.

Browser version: Google Chrome (desktop)
Asana Versions: Both Basic and Premium

Hi @Jessica_Redolfi welcome to our Community and sorry for the trouble. I can’t replicate this issue on my end. Can you test if this also happens in an incognito window of Asana? Are your colleagues experiencing the same issue?

This happens to me also, it’s very frustrating. Might have to stop using Asana.

I am also experiencing this problem. I notice it doesn’t occur with all my tasks though, only some of them. For example, this morning I had a problem with this task:

I also notice it only occurs in my web browser version of Asana. So, I can workaround the bug by making the necessary changes using my iOS Asana app.

I believe the problem persists with certain tasks. Super annoying! Please advise fix.

I confirm the issue persists in incognito. Am using Firefox. Persists in Google Chrome too. So my theory is that specific tasks currently have this problem persistently in web browsers.

Hi Vanessa, I’m no longer having this issue. But I had it prior for a few weeks

The task referenced here has now been marked as completed. This morning I clicked on the due date of that task and it worked. It is a recurring task. So the task it generated that is incomplete still freezes the browser when clicking on the due date.

I am having this issue on both the desktop app and in Google.
It seems to only happen on new tasks created not exisiting tasks.
