When i convert task to project why the field value doesn’t pop up in the project? It is the same fields on task and project value, anyway to sync them automatically?

@Bei_Ding - are you asking why the field values of the originating task don’t populate for every task inside of your project? Or why don’t they populate at the project level (e.g., in portfolios)?
The latter is currently supported behavior (i.e., if your originating task has global custom field values set, those will carry over to the new project and be visible in any portfolios it’s in). The former is not supported.
If I recall correctly, this will happen only if those custom fields are present in the portfolio you designate the project to be added to at the time of conversion.

Hi Stephen,
What I refer to is why the field value of original task don’t populate for the task inside the converted project from the original task. coz then we have to refill the field again.
