We have a project template in our Finance & Operations team. We’d like to share this with other teams in our organization. Is there a way to do that? Right now, it seems like access to this template is limited to just this one team.

That’s right, you can share a project template with one team or any number of individuals, but not multiple teams.
It’s a best practice to maintain an “All Staff” team, and that would offer you a solution for this particular need too.

Hi @Fabian_Nöthe , to add to @Rashad_Issa 's useful link, you may also need to adjust your template settings in the template editor (Settings is the 3rd and last step) in the new Templates v2 which are now considered as ‘objects’ (not projects) that live within a Team - and I gather this is your issue.
So in the settings, apart from adjusting the Privacy settings (as per below snip) you can also invite members from other teams to access the template.
